A Greek dairy company is relocating its head quarters to Luxembourg as part of a corporate restructuring programme.

FAGE Group created newly-formed Luxembourg corporation FAGE International SA to act as parent company to all of the FAGE Group’s operations.

The move forms part of an internal restructuring, “designed to enhance the efficiency of the Group’s corporate structure and to better reflect the increasingly global nature of the Group’s business,“ the company said in a press statement.

FAGE CEO Athanassios Filippou said: “We are pleased to announce this corporate restructuring, which builds on our Greek heritage while positioning us to compete even more effectively in the global marketplace.”

According to the company, FAGE Dairy Industry SA, the former group parent company, is to continue handling operations in Greece.

FAGE’s operations outside of Greece will be handled by the Luxembourg office.

The FAGE Group was founded in 1926 with the launch of its first dairy shop in Athens,, owned by Athanassios Filippou.

Following the restructure, the group remains fully owned and managed by members of the Filippou family.

Today FAGE is one of the leading Greek dairy companies selling a range of branded dairy products, including yogurt, desserts, milk and cheese which are exported from Greece to 29 other countries around the world.

  1. I think this analysis suffers from data that is spatially inhomogeneous. Prices in this boom have mostly risen in the Florida, Texas, Nevada, and California. The rest of the country had seen business as usual, until the burst affected everyone.
